"When the magic eraser first came out, I was so impressed I told everyone about it. It seemed one sponge lasted forever and did a great job! Now, the product shreds into tiny pieces almost immediately, or even larger chunks will just break off. If I decide to use it, as I just did, I first use the sponge to do the cleaning, then I have to try and get all the tiny shreds and pieces off the counter or whatever I clean. This did not happen when the product fist came out. I always had one available. Now, they are more work and just fall apart to easy and last a fraction of what they used to."

Thanks for your review of the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. We haven't made any changes that would cause the Eraser to break off in larger chunks. "I raise Japenese chins, and I find a different use for Mr. Clean Magic Eraser everyday. From Kennels to the kitchen(different one) they are just a big help so, I can spend more time with the dogs where my time is needed. Instead of trying to clean something that my elbow grease just will not do but when I use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser it requires so little muscle;)"

AWESOME!!
"This is the first time that I bought the majic eraser and I LOVE IT!!!! I have 4 children and live in a 1900 sq ft home that is fully tiled! The tile is light colored and is hard to keep clean due to 6 people running around every day and I work full time! I bought a steamer for the floors but it doesnt do what i feel it needs to. I bought the majic erasers for the fridge and stove and dish washer but decided to check out how it worked on the tile! It is amazing!! I don't have to scrub, I just wipe and the dirt is gone!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!! Now I am going to run out and buy more Mr Clean products and hope they work on my floors just as well!!!!"

"When the erasers first came out they were great, couldn't do without around the home especially cleaning the fiberglass walls of our inground pool. Lately it seems they fall apart faster. They do magic for sure."

These things are amazing!
"I`ve seen the commercials but have never paid much attention. Recently I was with a friend who is an avid 'cleaner' to say the least , and she mentioned how great these erasers are. So the next time I was at the grocery store I bought a box. There was a stain on a relatively new white stove from having been put on self clean for too long. It looked like a long burn mark. I had tried everything to remove it. It looked awful! The eraser took it all off in a matter of seconds! I was flabbergasted! Then I used it to remove a black stain in my old clawfoot porcelain bathtub. Again AMAZING!!!!! I LOVE this product and I`m telling everyone about it! I can`t wait to go buy more and try it on every stain in the house! It really IS magic!"

Window washing with a magic eraser
"Summer requires watering flower beds with sprinklers, which will at times cause the water to hit our exterior window glass. The hard water residue is terrible and makes window cleaning a chore. I tried a magic eraser on this difficult to remove "build-up" and it was miraculous!!! With just a simple wipe over with a wet magic eraser, all the hard water residue was removed. As much as I love Windex for window cleaning, I will be switching to a Magic Eraser for my exterior window washing. Thank you."

"Having used the Majic Eraser on many projects I had always been pleased with its results. But when I removed a decal that had been on plexiglass for many years, I was sorely concerned that not all the adhesive came off - not with window cleaner, scrub sponge nor all the elbow grease I applied. Eureka! I reached for the Magic Eraser and the adhesive came off easily. Such a great product!"

Best Bathroom Cleaner Ever
"I feel ridiculous posting this because I never post reviews about anything--but I have GOT to spread the marvels of this thing. I have tried like a dozen products trying to clean my shower and nothing worked, even after hours of scrubbing--until this, which literally wiped out stains and whatever else is on bathtubs in one swipe. I should be a freaking spokesperson for this thing."

"Mr. Clean Magic Eraser fell apart on me on the first use! It was brand new. The commercial was better than the product. The second eraser went into the trash along with the box. I'm going back to using sponges."

Not So Magic Eraser
"I have used original Magic Erasers in the past and have been satisfied with performance, smell, shine, etc. but this time purchased a box of "Extra Power" Magic Erasers. I don't know where the Extra Power comes into play, but it is not in these 4 pads. That was a complete waste of money, will not use Extra Power again. Will try bathroom "erasers" next to clean my shower, however if not any better than the box I have now, I won't use any of them again."

"I am impressed... I thought my shower was just old and needed reglazing.. I used the magic eraser today and wow! My shower honestly looks brand new. With a little elbow grease and the magic eraser, 2 years of soap and product build up literally melted off. I just called my mom and told her she needed to try these. Wow."

"We were cleaning an apartment. The girl in the next room was using a MAJOR and VERY EXPENSIVE brand bathroom scrubber. Nothing seemed to clean this bathroom. I told her to try the Majic eraser and it came clean in the first swipe. Quality doesn't cost it pays."

"I just bought a house and it was about as dirty as I have ever seen. Bathrooms looked as if they had never been cleaned. The bottom of the bathtub was almost black with dirt and stains. Walls and woodwork looked as if they needed to be painted. This house was only 5 years old!!!! After a friend suggested using Mr. Clean erasers.....it was absolutely amazing how clean things became. Bathtub is no longer stained..woodwork is white and even the walls no longer need painting!! Most amazing product I have ever used. I could do a commercial for this product!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I had a coupon and bought a Magic Eraser package but had not used it. When my husband came home from fishing in a bayou, there was an oily ring around the boat that just would not come off with all our scrubbing. So, I got out the Magic Eraser and tried it and magically the ring came off the boat!!! I will always have a Magic Eraser around my house from now on (We live in Louisiana where the oil has hit us on the gulf even though they said it was not supposed to be that far inland)"

"After purchasing many expensive products designed to remove the scum line (which didn't to the trick) from the vinyl liner on an inground swimming pool, I had the brilliant idea to try the Magic Eraser. And true to it's name it worked LIKE MAGIC. I used a bucket of water to rinse the dirt out of the eraser that came off the liner so as not to put the dirt back into the pool. I did work carefully so as not to get any broken off pieces of the Eraser into the water. For over 25 years I have tried in vain to find a product that worked and none match the Magic Eraser. I was thrilled with the results."

Miracle of all cleaning products
"I have a 5" shower and hard water. Its stains the white unit. I have used a gazillion different products to try and clean it. I had this product under my kitchen sink and had never used it so I thought "What the heck", give it a try. I started simple like using it in my Grandson's room where he had colored on freshly painted doors and walls. Presto, it was gone and I don't have to paint over the crayon. I cleaned fingerprints on door frames and cabinet doors. It was like magic. I proceeded to the dreaded shower, and behold! With very little effort I wiped that baby down and it looks almost new. I actually started giggling. No more hurting myself scrubbing until I'm numb. I can't wait to share this product with my friends and family. Thanking you so very much for finally putting out a product that actually works and is earth friendly. It does eventually come apart but I think I got my bang for the buck."

"I love this product. Without thinking about what is in it, I find it does exactly what it claims. I didn'r notice any scent or odor elimination, but neither does it smell chemically.

Its Really MAGIC!
"My daughter spilled black hair dye on the bathroom floor,which splashed up onto the front of the wooden sink vanity door. I used nail polish remover,terpentine,paint thinner,even a product from a hair salon that they use to remove hair dye. NOTHING would remove this from the wood,the bad part is we live in a leased townhouse,we are in the process of moving,so you understand the pressure to remove this successfully, I have heard about the Mr. Clean majic eraser so i figured what do i have to lose. I spent $2.00 on this product with a small amount of elbow grease, the hair dye came OFF, COMPLETELY! i am forever grateful to the genius who invented this product!"
